Nurse Akali was probably my third cosplay or so? I originally wore it for Halloween but later decided to do a shoot with it. Her props were the first time I made props of any kind--or anything to do with cosplay really. The entire thing was made out of Styrofoam and poster boards. I had no idea what I was doing back then so I used anything that looked the part. The handles were Styrofoam posts I found at walmart and the blades were cut from thick poster boards. They weren't sealed or anything. I simply used a lot of layers of acrylic paint to paint them. The nurse outfit and stockings were bought off eBay and the shoes I already owned. What was made?
