I had been itching to make another big armor build and when Blizzard released Brigitte as a champion I knew that she had to be it. Her armor was definitely a challenge and one of my biggest builds to date. It took a lot longer than I had estimated to complete, but I eventually got there. The mace is able to turn into a flail like in game. And the shield is pretty lightweight! All of the armor is made out of EVA foam and attaches via elastic bands and snaps. What was made?

Pattern Making: 3-4 days Sewing: 1 day Foam Work: 1 1/2 months Painting: 2 weeks **Days are not a full 24 hours. They're more like "work" days. Meaning for each day, I worked on the cosplay for anywhere from 4-10 hours per day--it's all a rough estimate.

Fun Facts!
Heat stroke?!
- I wore this to Anime Expo but only lasted a few minutes before getting having to change due to the extreme heat. I got very sick from this and was for the next few days. Luckily, I was able to get photos a week or so later. However, even in an air conditioned, cool building it was still pretty hot. I was able to last about 40 minutes before needing to change. This costume is definitely not heat friendly!
- Blizzard shared this cosplay of mine and it was noticed by the voice actress of Brigitte! So all the issues with heat were worth it in the end? Right?
