Debuted: Wonder Con 2019
Notes:
I immediately fell in love with Cammie when watching Gen:LOCK! Her character is so fun! Plus I'm always a sucker for a short character (since I'm super short too). And to top it all off, she has such a cool style. I mean, just look at this design! I made this cosplay from sweater fleece and a thrifted bed sheet. I patterned everything myself and found a pair of black high tops at a thrift store to alter. I couldn't find a good spot in her design to include a zipper and, wanting to not worry to much with it so I could get it done in time for Wonder Con, I just opted to skip adding in any closures for the jacket. Instead it's a tight squeeze over my head to get it on and off. The pants were easy. I made them like a pair of sweat pants--I added an elastic band at the wait. I'm was not happy with how the robot was turning out while crafting it. But after getting it painted and shaded and taking some photos of it with the entire cosplay I did start feeling better about it. I'm still not 100% satisfied with my work on it but it's better than what I thought it'd end up looking like. I am happy with the bag and key chains though! What was made?
Hoodie. Pants. Shoes-Heavily Altered. Robot. Bag and Key Chains. Ear Pieces. What was bought? Nothing! I made everything for this cosplay :) Related Links!

Fun Facts!
First!?
- I started working on this cosplay almost immediately after the show debuted. This meant there were zero reference photos out there! Which made the crafting process all the more tricky. There was a lot of art featuring the outfit of her's shown on promo posters but not so much of any of her other outfits. So I had to go back through the show screenshot-ing every scene, almost every frame/second of it, where she was wearing her casual outfit. I ended up with over a hundred screenshots of just this outfit! And was able to draw up my own turn around of this design as a final reference. There wouldn't be a turn around/official art of this outfit released until months later! And my turn around matched it pretty much perfectly! Success!
