Debuted: Ani-Me 2018
Notes:
This version of Rei had been on my "to cosplay" list for a while now. It had been years since I watched Neon Genesis or read the manga, so I wasn't super familiar with this costume of her's (it's probably just be a figure design). But it was too cute not to cosplay! It was a bit tricky to figure out how to attach all the armor pieces and I ended up using a couple magnets for the back pieces and Velcro for everything else. The bodysuit also gave me a bit of trouble but I eventually got there! What was made?
Ears. Necklace. Arm Armor. Gloves. Chest Piece. Bodysuit. Stockings. Boot Covers. Tail. Back Pieces. What was bought? Nothing! I made everything for this cosplay. Related Links!

WIP PhotosBuild TimeShopping: About a day + one or two hours of searching online
Pattern Making: 1 day Sewing: 2 days Foam Work: 1 1/2 weeks Painting: 3-4 days **Days are not a full 24 hours. They're more like "work" days. Meaning for each day, I worked on the cosplay for anywhere from 4-10 hours per day--it's all a rough estimate.

Dancing~
- I wore this to a con where both D-Piddy and I were a guest at. I ended up getting to quickly learn a K-pop type dance with him and BelovedStar Cosplay to be put in his video! It was fun! He's a really nice person and BelovedStar is a good friend of mine!
