I didn't join in on the Yuri on Ice obsession until late in the game, but once I finally got the chance to watch the show I understood why it was so popular. It's such a good anime! I immediately fell in love with Yurio! I love this character type--they're so fun. So, of course, I just had to cosplay him! I saw the jacket on eBay for like $20 and decided to grab it! After that I just got a cheap pair of shoes, painted them and the cosplay was done! What was made?

Fun Facts!
First cross-play!
- This was the first time I attempted cross-playing! It's rough. I don't think I can pull off looking like a guy too well (it's why I gender-bend rather than cross-play). I actually edited my nose to be a bit more straight in the final photos. My nose has a upturn curve to it normally, which is typically seen as a more feminine feature, so I adjusted it to look a teeny bit more traditionally masculine. It didn't make a huge difference but I think it helped pull off the look a bit? This is an edit I was comfortable making because I always planned to be open about the edit and, if I were more skilled with special effects makeup, it's something I could potentially do with makeup.
