Halloween Special Effects Makeup - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 Not super good quality of course and there's not very much product but I figured it will do for a few Halloween makeup tutorials. Air Dry Clay - eBay - $10.67 So I totally thought it was $7ish in the video but after checking, it was $10 which was still the same price it was at Walmart. Just picked up some air-dry clay for details on some cosplays. Jordana Nail Polish in Soft Pink - Savemart - $1.59 The colors very pretty. Takes only 2 coats -what's recommended for nail polish- to have a solid even layer of coloring. It's almost like a pink-ish nude color. Loreal Paris Color Vibrancy Shampoo & Conditioner - Savemart - $5-ish Each Picked up this shampoo since it's meant for color treated hair. I've used it a few times now and my hair hasn't been fading much, nor have I seen a lot of the color run out when washing it - so it seems like it's doing is job. Loreal Paris Color Vibrancy dual Protect Spray - Savemart - $5-6ish Picked up some heat protection spray. This goes along with the Loreal shampoo and conditioner, so it also helps protect color treated hair from fading, which is great since hot irons -especially straighteners- can cause color to fade and dull quickly. Also the packaging and color is perfect! Argan Oil by OGX - Savemart - $6ish So far, so great! I've used it a few times now on both my hair and the extensions I wear and they both feel so much silkier, soft and hydrated. It gives my hair a nice shine and it continues to feel healthier even a few days afterwards. Skull & Cross Bones Ice Cube Trays - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 I've always wanted to be able to have ice cubes in different shapes and I saw this and thought it was so cute. I still one some in geek culture/nerdy topic shapes. Things like this are great for parties, hangouts and summer. So this specific shaped ice cube tray would be perfect for a Halloween party of some sort. Collagen Essence Facial Mask - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 It's nothing super professional but I've purchased face masks from the $1.50 store in Japan Town before and it's very similar to these. I'm never sure if they make much of a difference but my skin does feel refreshed and hydrated at the least. Revlon Stick on Polish/Nail Art - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 I love these things. They can be a bit tricky to work with sometimes but it comes with quite a few in case you make mistakes. Nail polish strips are perfect for a quick and easy manicure. Amethyst - eBay - $1.95 Blue Sand - eBay - $1.96 I love these. I've seen them all around the internet lately, these crystal pendants so I just had to pick me up some and only one to pick up more ~and I will! They're just so pretty and fantasy-like. Makes me feel elvish almost. I got it in Blue Sand because the stone reminded me of a galaxy almost, like stars in a midnight sky. I got the Amethyst because it's always been my favorite gemstone, along with sapphire. Makeup Wedges - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 Just grabbed some wedges because I figured they'd be useful at some point, especially when for any Halloween-ish makeup tutorials. Fake Nose Rings (set of 2) - eBay - $1.69 I love these. I'm so afraid of the needles used for septum piercings so I never wanted to commit, that and I doubted whether I would like the piercing on me or not. This is such an easy fix for me! It's comfortable, easy to put on and take off. Inuyasha DVD - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 So like I said in the video, the 99 Cent Store will randomly have different DVDs of Inuyasha so whenever I see one I don't have yet I'll always pick it up. No issues with any so far. Under Eye Mask - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 Similar to the face masks. It's cheap so I never expect it to do something amazing but my skin does feel refreshed and hydrated afterwards. I've only used one mask so far. They can be slightly uncomfortable if placed weird or you have really sensitive under eyes. Gold Spiked Bra - eBay - $7.49 I love this so much. I've seen some grunge outfits including this piece so I just had to pick one up. It makes a great replacement for my plain black bandeau tops. Looks super edgy and grunge-like, at least with the way I've styled it and plan to. Pocket Sketch Pad - eBay - $11.90 This is so great for anyone interest in fashion design. The outline of the figures won't show up if scanned so that means when you scan or photocopy your designs you wont have anything you haven't drawn show up, getting rid of the lines that may run through the middle of some outfits. the figure lines a printed in this light peach color so even on the original paper itself it doesn't interfere too much with designs that follow a different silhouette. It's full of front, back and side views, multiple poses and a variety of sizes or the figures. It also has a lot of figures to work with, meaning it'll be able to be used for a long time. Most designers have things similar to this, where they have pre-drawn figures already available to them so they can just start designing whenever inspired and don't have to waste time drawing a base figure first. Popcorn Purse - eBay - $14.26 This is just so cute. The material is thick and sturdy, it retains it's shape, the box shape helps it stand up well. The fabric and pull strings on the top allows for extra room if needed, but overall it fits quite a bit for looking a bit on the smaller side. It's not as big as my other purse but my other purse was fairly huge-for me at least. It lets you switch between a small hand-strap or a long shoulder strap. The color scheme and print is so lovely and doesn't seem like it'll scratch off or fade. It's so well made. The original price I bought it for was about $15 but the seller has since upped the price to about $20. I may have even gotten it on sale but I can't remember. Halloween Fence Posts - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 Just something I picked up because I figured, due to the shape of it, it could be useful as a base for some sort of prop in a future cosplay. Gel Pen Set - Big Lots - $5-10ish Bringing back my childhood. Gel pens are just has I remember them. The right smoothly and vibrantly. I do have to say that Big Lots -at least here- is a slightly more run down-looking store so it didn't surprise be too much when two of the pens didn't work at all (I think something's wrong with the ball point because the ink looked fine and is full) and another two had quite a bit of trouble getting started. But overall I remember this being significantly cheaper than I've seen in other local stores, but you can always search on eBay. Card Stock Paper - Big Lots - $2-4ish What can I say? It's just a form of thicker paper basically. But most artists would know why I love drawing on card-stock and favor certain paper of others. For card-stock i found the price to be fairly cheap. Everything just writes so smoothly on it. White Blanket - QVC - $?? I love this blanket. Received it as a birthday gift from my grandma. It's a cute little throw blanket, is warm, soft and fuzzy. Perfect for the fall and winter weather ahead. Afterglow AGX.1 Headset - eBay - $40-60ish In love with this headset. It was marked as retail factory box opened/damaged, but everything inside was in it's original packaging and was never used - you could tell. Everything works fine. The sound quality is amazing and I'm in love with the lights. This is a later model of Afterglow headsets but I was in love with this one because of the headband! It only glows one color unlike the newer models -which does not include light up headbands- and is available in two color choices, green or blue. I picked blue because it reminded me of Tron. The lights are able to be turned on and off. I prefer corded headsets but needed one I could easily move about my whole room in since I have pets to deal with and don't like to constantly take on and off my headset. The cord for this is just perfect! It's super long, I'm able to move about my room easily and still have a portion of the cord bundled up. It has the option to control both game and chat volumes which could be a little tricky to figure out how to set up if you don't know already. I just went to my volume mixer and turned my chat application all the way down in one and up in the other and vise versa-ed it with the game applications. There may be other ways to go about this but I'm not sure. It has two modes for sound which are signified by either a blue or red color on the mic. And from what I can tell the mic works fine. Much better quality than my old headset from what I've been told. I've read that the light up band can be fragile so, like what I've seen someone complain about, don't throw it (face palm -how's that not obvious) and I wouldn't rest your head to the side on anything -like if you're laying down. The band is flexible though, it's not adjustable height wise, but the inner band is meant to secure and keep the headset reaching tight -obviously, it can only go as high as the light up band though. Both bands are fairly flexible when it comes to stretching it sideways so it should fit around most heads. If you have a very large head though, it may be come uncomfortable and tight feeling especially after a long period of time. I haven't had much trouble with this and I feel I have about an average head size. It's only been slightly uncomfortable when I had in clip-in extensions (that were sitting weird themselves) and had been wearing it for nearly a whole 24 hours. The comfort of the ear pad-things are perfect though. I just love after glow products so much though, mostly because of the light up and glowing applications. Photography Studio Lighting Kit - eBay - $99.00
Lastly, I received this photography studio kit. It was one of the cheaper listings of this specific kit I found on eBay and from a seller with fairly good ratings, so i ordered this one. It included 4 studio light bulbs, 4 sockets for the light that attach to the 4 lighting tripods included (they also work as a tripod for my camera :D ), 2 soft boxes and covers, 2 umbrellas, a white, green and black backdrop, 5 rings to hand the backdrop on & 2 straps that attach it to the side posts, 2 tripods for the backdrop and 4 bars to go along the top of the backdrop rigging, a carrying case and I believe that was it. It arrived early and nothing was damaged or broken. Ever piece worked and arrive fine. It didn't come with instructions though but since most lighting sets are fairly universal and generic it was easy to just Google some How-Tos. I'm so excited to use this. I've already filmed a few videos with this -including this haul video.

I received the Dean's List Voxbox! Voxboxes are boxes full of different products given to you by Influenster with the cooperation of various companies. Influenster is a website were you have the ability to easily find reviews and write your own on various products, connect with others, and receive opportunities to get free products to review and talk about with your peers. I received the Dean's List Voxbox and these are it's contents; Airhead Bites These are so good ~I've almost eaten them all now-just a short while after opening the Voxbox. They taste just like normal airheads. They only difference is that they're bite size, round and have a "hard" candy shell. I "" hard because it's only hard in the sense that it's more solid than they rest- think of the candy shelling on Skittles or M&Ms. They're just as chewy though! Pilot Pen I received to Pilot Frixion Ball Clicker pens. They write so pretty. I had a small doodle showing it off on my Instgram but it doesn't nearly do it enough justice. They're also erase-able! So I'm kind of weird because I've always been super picky about the pens I write with -it's an artist thing?-. I love when they write smoothly and prettily, and these do! Bonus is the eraser is really good too! Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes - Sultry I received these Lashes. Now there's different styles of Looks So Natural Lashes, I received them in Sultry. They're less full than other lashes I own but not in a bad way! The idea is to look super natural and they do. They're even tapers to go from shorter on the inside to longer on the outside just like natural lashes. And they branch out ever so slightly in different directions, once again, like natural lashes. The strip the lashes are attached to is fairly thin as well, and clear, helping to give them an even more natural look. These lashes will help add slight volume and fullness to your natural lashes, as well as length ~ all while keeping it looking natural, like they're actually your real lashes. Platex Sports Fresh Balance Tampons These are meant for people who are active often, so they'd be especially good for girls who play sports! They come with a plastic applicator and are apparently lightly scented and have an odor shield. Now these aren't necessarily my thing but I'm sure it's good for anyone who prefers this style of lady items. Softlips Cube This has to be the most favorite product I received. Most lipbalms and chapsticks I've purchased all say they do this and that and they do do what they say but it's never anything super noticeably different from one another. This one is so different though! I felt an instant difference -not exaggerating. It's so hydrating and instantly moisturizing. Plus is smells amazing! I got it in the scent Vanilla Bean and not only does is smell like Vanilla Bean but it tastes like it too, how crazy (mostly, because I've never been a fan on when lip products where flavored and this one I don't believe is necessarily meant to be-but even so, it's not bad or weird smelling nor tasting). Think Starbuck's Vanilla Bean drink-I forget what kind of drink it is, but the one without coffee. Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation It's oil free and matches my skin tone. It has more of a warm undertone too it but blends really well so I find that the pink-y tone to it goes away once I blend it onto my skin more-which is great since I'm a cool tone. It feels really light weight and seems to cover fairly well. Sinful Colors; No Text Red
It's a pretty shade of red. Looks a bit magenta-y or has a magenta tone to it with a thin layer, but with two coats comes out a vibrant red. Dries quickly to and it non-sticky and easy to apply. No only is the nail polish great but the campaign is stands for is amazing. No Text Red is a part of a campaign to raise awareness of safe driving, specifically, not texting while driving. You're suppose to paint your thumbnails red to partake in the awareness. Right now my middle finger is the red one but I'll switch it up later. Remember don't text and drive and drive safely! Everything in the box I love and am very satisfied/happy with :) Can wait to use these products more! ~Positive outcomes only! :) Red Striped Shirt - Ross $7-$10ish Normal quality. Fitted scoop neck t-shirt. I plan to cut this and crop it. There's nothing really special to say about it. I've just been wanting some cropped fitted-tees and couldn't really find any that I liked so I decided to pick up a few cheap shirts and make my own! Love White Striped Shirt - Ross $7-$10ish Normal quality. Fitted scoop neck t-shirt. Plan to crop it and remove the bow. There's nothing really special to say about it. I've just been wanting some cropped fitted-tees and couldn't really find any that I liked so I decided to pick up a few cheap shirts and make my own! Biker Faux Leather Jacket - Target $40 Absolutely in love with this jacket. Now it just needs to be cold enough. Has a fake grey hoodie attached underneath. It reminds me of the character Marty Perkins from the TV series Hellcats. Heelless Shoes - eBay $35 Can be a bit tricky to walk on, but I personally, quickly got the hang of it. Love the style and look of these. Wouldn't recommend it for an all day thing ~but I'm wearing them to a con someday soo.... Suede fabric so I'd avoid water or buy water-proof spray meant for suede. Great quality by the way and the seller was so easy and helpful to work with. They were super nice over the phone as well. I've never had a seller call and get everything fixed so immediately. I'll be looking for shoes from them from now on! I believe they run true to size (USA sizes that is). Black Bed Sheet Set - Ann's Linen & Things (I think) $10 Normal quality. Were super cheap and on sale. The store overall is quite expensive though. But I feel like all linen specific stores are. Paris Cafe Curtains - Ann's Linens & Things (I think) $16 I found this to be kind of expensive, especially since the previous curtains I had up I just went ahead and made so it was super cheap. But I just love this design so it's worth it. Normal quality. Say Yes To Grapefruit Makeup Wipes - Walmart $5-$6ish My favorite brand of facial cleansing products. I always buy their makeup whips. Yeah it's quite expensive. $5 or $6 for only 25 towelettes, but I feel it's worth it. It removes all the makeup so well and quickly, plus it usually has bonus properties aimed at specific skin problems and I find that it works. Calvin Klein Jeans - Costco $19.99 each They kind of remind me of jeggings but thicker. I actually really like them. They're comfortable to wear, like most leggings are, but still on the thicker side, so they feel sturdy like denim jeans. High-Waisted Jeans - Ross $8-$10ish Fits fairly true to size. Still wanting a solid denim colored high-waisted jean but this will definitely due. Normal quality. Is pretty comfortable to wear as well. Acid Washed Jeans - Ross $7-$8ish Fits true to size. Pretty comfortable to wear. Normal quality and so far so good. They're holding up amazingly for how much I've already worn them. Hair Extensions- eBay/MiniHouse8888 $75 The same extensions I always buy. Would like it if they were a bit thicker. But either buying a second pack or a whole weft (which is actually cheaper or same price I believe) and cutting my own and sewing on the clips myself would work to make them thicker! Clips are still a bit uncomfortable every once in a while but nothing real bothering. I'll even sleep in them sometime. Great quality. Must be taken care of as normal with repairing, conditioning and oil treatments. Held up bleaching super well, as well! Took the bleach quickly and didn't break or become damaged. Holds up to heat well too. Favorite seller. Buying from their eBay site allowed me to get faster shipping. Arrived in a few days since they shipped it from a USA warehouse. Batman Shirt - Walmart $10 Normal quality. Cute design. I love most super heroes and while Batman isn't my FAVORITE favorite, still like him. I mostly went for this shirt because it was just so cutely doodled on ~so I couldn't resist. Thread Rack ~ About $10 ~ Walmart So I searched on eBay for cheaper but only found them at the same price or more expensive. Thread racks make life so much easier. My entire sewing set up looks and feels so much nicer and more organized with this. No more thread just un-winding everywhere. Cork Board ~ $12.99 ~ Ross I like everything but the color of the frame. I'm just in love with these paintings, prints, other decor with different landmarks (mostly the Eiffel Tower ~which they had, just in a weird position-smack in the center and it felt off-). But the frame color was an easy fix for such a huge cork board. It's bigger than my torso! Anyways I plan to paint the frame either black or gold. Funko Pop Characters ~ $10 ~ Anime Expo 2014 There's a booth at Anime Expo every year that sells nothing but a huge variety of Funko Pop characters. I always have to buy something from there. Their figurines are $10 even. So this year I picked up Raven and Harley Quinn. I had such a hard time resisting the urge to grab Starfire, Beastboy and Merida as well. Soraka Poster ~ $3 ~ Da Ani-Kami Kon There was a booth there that had a huge deal/sale for these posters. They're about the size of a normal sheet of paper, maybe slightly bigger with what I believe was the Chinese splash art ~and some other art as well. So I picked up a Soraka one for myself and a Wukong one for my boyfriend. There was also a super cute Annie one and Sona one. Slim Coat Hangers ~ 12.99 ~ Ross At Ross I also went ahead and grabbed a pack of 25 slim coat hangers. I prefer these over the thicker ones because they usually have some sort of grip on them and the allow for the storage of more clothes! Which I really need, I have such a small closet so these hangers let everything actually fit. Fox Plushie ~$32-ish ~ Anime Expo So from a booth at Anime Expo (Bellzi) I grabbed this adorable fox plushie. They had a deal which gave quite a nice percentage (I believe it was 30%) off of their plushies if you just liked their Facebook page. Which I did in a heartbeat! There were so many adorable plushies (this, the raccoon and narwhal were my favorites ~different plushies different prices btw). They look professional done. Embroidery, tag and all. They're all handmade though! By one girl! They had a video too of her making all the plushies and the girl who made them was super adorable. They're made of such nice fabric and sewn together so well. Must buy more! Sailor Moon Necklace ~ $10 ~ Da Ani-Kami Kon At the same booth where I grabbed the Soraka poster I also was able to snag this cute necklace. There was only one! But 3 different types in general. The chain is a bit fragile. It already broke but is an easy fix since I already have the pliers meant for jewelry. The pendent itself though is lovely. Just a bit heavy ;^^. Spirit Gum & Spirit Gum Remover ~ $5.90 ~ eBay I've been needing this for a while so I finally bought some. On eBay you can find a small kit for fairly cheap. It's not the nicer brand or anything but it'll do the trick. Blue Leggings ~ $4.39 ~ eBay Fine quality and vivid color. Fits fine as well. Thicker material. One of the seems on the end of the leg/near the feet is a bit messed up and doesn't align correctly, but it's nothing really noticeable and is easily hidden with any higher-topped shoes. There's also a seem down the middle in both the front and back, I know that may bother some people so I figured it's worth mentioning. Velcro ~ $4 ish ~ Walmart Just one of those boring cosplay related item. Nothing really special to say about it. You can find velcro at the .99 cent and Dollar store btw. I didn't know that at the time. But it is obviously for a lesser amount. Plastic Dip ~ $7 something ~ Walmart Another cosplay related item. A much needed one though, especially if you're working with craft foam. This helps so much when prepping it for paint. You can easily find this in hardware stores, auto stores and the spray paint section at Walmart. Sharpies ~ $4.99 ~ Hobby Lobby Just normal metallic/silver sharpies. You could probably find them for much cheaper at department stores rather than buying them at a craft store. I'd look there if you're able to first. Prints ~ Various Prices ~ Storenvy So I recieved my test prints! Once my name change goes through on Facebook I'll be opening up my prints section in my Storenvy. Black Metallic Shorts ~ $2.58 ~ eBay These shorts are okay. I feel like they're meant for... taller people, I guess? The're too long so either it's they'd sit very high (and they're not meant to be high waist-ed) or the fall below where they're suppose to and look awkward. They also don't feel very stretchy. But not in the sense they won't stretch, in a way where it feels like they're already stretched out, and don't need to stretch to fit me which worries if they'll slowly slip. Either way I'll have to adjust them a bit. Over all though, they were super cheap so a little alterations is not big deal for a low price. Thigh High Socks ~ $3.95 ~ eBay Nice quality and all. Not the color I was expecting though. They had a couple different shades of pink shown but never specified which they listed (they only had one pink option). But it was the cheapest listing that was available when I ordered these so it was worth the gamble. I've re-ordered the correct color from a different seller, but these will come in handy someday. Plus they're just cute to wear around! Black Bikini ~ $3.15 ~ eBay So in the video I only showed/mentioned the top because I had forgotten it was a set. I received both, I've just misplaced the bottoms. Either way it's nice quality for a normal plain bikini. Perfect for altering and using for cosplays. Faux Leather Notebook ~ $5 ~ Ross Found this notebook at Ross and just had to grab it. It'd perfect for a Spelltheif Lux cosplay and it's just a cute/vintage-y notebook overall. It's got gold color rimming/lining on the pages which just adds to the very fantasy/vintage look. Eyelashes ~ $0.99 ~ Grocery Outlet Yeap. Bought these from a grocery store. I loved the way they faded from darker to light/fuller to thin. I think it creates a nice effect and will help give a more natural feel. Contour Palette ~ $4.83 ~ eBay So far so good. I use it quite often and it's lasting a while. Has so many different shades, even the greens and yellows and purples for concealing different blemishes and dark circles. Anti-Puff Eye Roller ~ $7 ish ~ Grocery Outlet Haven't used it too much to know whether it works or not but I'm hoping. It's by Garnier and I've liked their hair dye in the past so I'm hoping this'll be good. Nail Polish ~ $2.99 ~ Grocery Outlet I've been wanting a nude colored nail polish forever now, so when I saw this for only a couple dollars I decided to grab it. I've worn it and it's like any other nail polish. The quality and everything it's fine. Googly Eyes ~ $2 ish ~ Walmart Another one of the random cosplay things. Nothing special to say about these. Eeveelution Bag ~ $10 ~ Da Ani-Kami Kon Grabbed this from a booth at the convention. I can't remember the seller but I assume they'll be easy to find if you search around for chibi eeveelution fan art, maybe on DeviantArt? The bags a normal tote bag I believe with the girl's art printed on it. The art is just so cute! She also sold pints and shirts and had chibi drawings of so many different animes and characters. League of Legends Lanyard ~ Free ~ Anime Expo Got this from the League of Legends/Riot booth at Anime Expo. They were handing them out for free basically, all you had to do was answer a question (no trivia or anything, just who is your favorite champion or what's your favorite skin). The pin was given to me because they were short of my change at the Bellzi booth, so I got a free pin instead! Skin Codes ~ Free ~ Anime Expo Also got these from the LoL/Riot booth for just answering some fun little question. I had a give away on my Facebook page and I believe they're still not claimed on a few servers (Like Oceanic and EU). Whale Sweater ~ $12.99? or $10.99 ~ Ross Picked up this adorable whale sweater at Ross. It has cute little whales the spray little hearts printed all over it. The quality is nice, could be a bit fuzzier/softer but it'll do. I got it a size or too bigger but still want it to stretch a little more just because I prefer oversized sweaters. I do wish it was slightly lo Oxford Styles Shoes ~ $16 ~ Ross I've wanted Oxford inspired shoes for so long. They aren't in the exact color I wanted them, I prefer the more classic lighter/softer color look but I don't think they look bad either. Plus, they weren't too badly priced. So I decided to get them. The denim-like material has grown on me as well. PJ Pants ~ $11.99 ~ Costco My grandma and I both got a pair of pajama pants that were 2 for $11.99. Normal quality and what not. They're not super thick fabric so they're nice for cooler summer nights and will be good in the fall, even the start of winter, maybe all of winter if it's like the last (not very cold). Sword ~ $100 ~ Anime Expo I always buy a weapon whenever I go to Anime Expo. Can't resists. I love swords and different unique bladed weapons so much. Plus this one's from one of my favorite animes (SAO). So pretty. Nice painting and details. Good quality. Amazing shape, cut, so well done. *u* Prizes from Cosplay Competition ~ Free ~ Da Ani-Kami Kon Just some random prizes from the competition. It was a small con (but a surprisingly big cosplay competition o.O ) so they prizes are nothing SUPER fancy. T-shirt, mouse pad and some card game stuff, not sure what that is though. ~Positive outcomes only! :)
