Gift Cards for Forever 21 and Joann's Fabric Store Just some gift cards I received. Not much to say about these except I'm excited to spend them and already have spent one. Pillow - QVC I'm not sure of the exact brand but it's one of the higher quality ones. The pillow has My Pillow written all over it. It is super comfortable though and full. E.L.F. Eyeshadow Book E.L.F. eyeshadows are amazing. They're super pigmented. These specific eyeshadows are shimmery/glittery. The shimmer is all the way throughout the entire piece of eyeshadow (I note this because some eyeshadows that are shimmery/glittery only lay the shimmer/glitter on top and it gets used up quickly). E.L.F. 32 Piece Eyeshadow Palette This palette has some of my favorite colors to use in it (especially the gold). They're incredibly pigmented and the shimmer/glitter runs all the way throughout the eyeshadow piece. Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa Mix I haven't tried it yet but I have tried this brand and they do have really good hot chocolate. I'm really excited to try these different flavors. Legend of Zelda Tee - Hot Topic Super cute shirt! I love this. Great quality like any other Hot Topic shirt. I got it in a size small. Solar Powered Penguin - .99 Cent Store These are always so cute. I have a slight problem with buying so many --but they're always just a dollar sooo.. Anyways these make for some cute little nick-nacks to have around a room or home. Seaweed Cutter Been wanting one of these for a while. I assume this was gotten from Japan Town, San Francisco. This is basically a hole puncher for seaweed and you can use it to decorate rice and other dishes. It's especially great to make cute bento boxes. Mini Moon Tee - Hot Topic Another nice top from Hot Topic. Love that it's Sailor Moon (like from the anime Sailor Moon, I know the character is Sailor Mini Moon). Good quality of course. I believe this is a size medium. Philosophy Pistachio Meringue Shampoo, Bubble Bath, Body Soap - QVC I've owned products from them before and they're always really nice. It makes my hair feel nice and smells really good. I also love the packaging. The product lasts quite a while, as well. Sailor Mars Lingerie/Bikini - eBay- $10.44 The material isn't the greatest but it's overall well made --you'll probably just need to iron it. The bra is wired and has little padding. So if you like push-up, you're going to have to add your own or may not be interested. This was a one size item. I feel like it could fit up to a US large (maybe larger --it does have elastic bands so it can stretch quite a bit). Hot Cocoa Sampler I haven't tried this brand yet but I love all the different flavors of hot chocolate. I'm so ready for winter now! Ellen Tracy Eyebrow Kit Really nice kit. I love the stencils and they're fairly easy to use. The palette itself is very pigmented. The brush isn't top of the line but it is good enough. The eyeliner is nice as well. Orange Wig - eBay - $17.86 Super nice quality and really thick. It's also really long. It does have quite a bit of shine but that can be taken away with baby or talcum powder. Bangs come as really long side bangs so that they can be cut and styled as desired. Pig Coin Purse This makes me so happy. It's rubber-y material and really sturdy. It's so cute too! I love pigs. FujiFilm Instax Mini 8 - eBay- $117.49 Included 5 packs of film (10 sheets each), selfie/mirror lens, and marker. Came with a wrist strap as well. It's really easy to use and really easy to just run through the film. The film is a bit expensive too --it's about a $1 per sheet (so packs of 10 are between $8-12). I love the color. The selfie lens is really helpful when taking selfies of just you or with friends. Note that the flash will always go off no matter what setting. The ink is also in the photo so when a picture is developing be careful not to shake it around much. Photos develop quickly --within a minute or two. I love the feel of these vintage-y photo styles (childhood!!). E.L.F. Lengthening & Defining Mascara E.L.F. products are always great. This mascara is awesome. Doesn't clump and does appear to add length. I like the brush style as well. Bath & Body Hand Sanitizer in Sweat Pea & Pumpkin Caramel Latter, and Owl Hand Sanitizer Carrier Bath & Body always has great products. Both hand sanitizers smell really good. The case for them is just so cute and different as well. It also makes for a helpful little flashlight if/when needed. BlackHead Out Nose Strips (10 Sheets) - eBay - $2.69 These are much different from the other ones I ordered. This have a more cloth-y and flexible feel to them. They also have no scent (at least not a bad scent). I do have to trim these down because it gets too close to my under-eye area and can be irritating when waiting. The other ones I had feel like the removed black heads better than these ones but that may just be because I didn't have many to start with anyways. These feel more moisturizing afterwards though. Both are really good and get the job done. Strawberry Skittles Candle I love that it's pink and strawberry and Skittles! It smells amazing and the little glass it's in is really pretty. Sheer Black Top Nice quality top. I really like sheer blouses like this. Bali Mango Body Lotion from Bath & Body Works Smells so good! It's really moisturizing. Once again another great quality product from Bath & Body Works. It's a huge bottle with a lot of product that it definitely going to last a long time. Cat Slippers The slippers are so cute. Although, the eye did break off of one almost right away --but it can be glue back on. They're pretty comfortable. I also didn't expect them to be super warm because the material was different from other slippers I've had, but they are! Puppy Pajamas These are the softest and warmest pajama bottoms I own. I love the cute puppy print and the pink coloring. Pink Scissors - QVC They're designed to cut through thicker and sturdy materials and they do exactly that. They look a little awkward to hold and cut with but they actually aren't and work just like a normal scissors. Purple Purse Organizer - QVC This is really helpful especially if you switch purses daily or to match outfits. Now I feel like I should and want to look into getting more and different styles or purses so I can switch them out more often and style them with different outfits. Good quality material and well made. Pink Knit Jumper Love the color. Well made. It's not the most flattering shape but it is meant to be over-sized so it still looks cute. It's pretty warm too. Black & Red Sweater I think I'll use this for another casual Harley Quinn cosplay, maybe Christmas next year. It's well fitted and warm. Really good quality of course. Blue & White Sports Sweater This is really warm and soft. I really love the color too. It's purpose is for active wear but I may also use it as a pajama top because it's so warm and soft. Halo Portable Cellphone Charger - QVC This was a little tricky to learn how to work but once I got it working it was super helpful. It charges my phone pretty fast as well. I also like that it came in this cute wallet like shape and doesn't take up much space. Silver/Lavender Mixed Wig - eBay (auction) - 6.50 I absolutely love this wig. I want my actual hair this color. The wig is pretty long and thick. It's a nice quality and doesn't have much shine so it can look pretty natural. It came with straight cut bangs but they're long enough so that they could easily be swept into a side bang. 90s Choker - eBay - $0.99 Same quality as any of these chokers back in the 90s. It's very stretchable so it easily fitted me. Comfortable to wear. Love the vibe it can give an outfit. Solar Powered Rose - 99 Cent Store - $1 Like I mentioned earlier I have a slight problem with buying so many of these things. They're so cute though and cheaply priced. Tall Lace-Up Boots - Forever 21 - $39.80 Love these boots. They go up to just under my knee. They have a zipper on the side so one you have the lacing situated, you can just zip and unzip them to take them on and off. Feels well made and like good material. Distressed Los Angeles Sweater - Forever 21 - $22.80 Sweater goal for a while now. I love the vibe and look of distressed sweaters. I also loved the print on this one and the placement of the "tears". It's a small but runs over-sized for a loose and comfy feel. Great quality. Floppy Brim Fedora - Forever 21 - $14.90 Dream hat for a while now. It's fit is a bit of a loose fit but it actually helps it sit on my head the way I want. It pulls together so many of my outfits now. Diet Coke Muscle Tee - Forever 21 - $9.99 Such a cute shirt. Recommened you wear some sort of bandeau or cute bra underneath since you can see it from the side. I love how long this top is too. It's a size small and falls to about mid-thigh, so it looks great and super cute with shorts. I'll definitely being wearing this a lot in the summer!

Bunny Piggy Bank - Daiso - $1.50 So cute! It's like a marshmallow bunny. I love piggy banks so much. Lucky Cat - Daiso - $3 Something I bought for my grandma. If placed right it's suppose to bring good luck and wealth. Not sure if it works though but I do think it made a cute gift. Twinsider Mascara -Daiso - $1.50 Love this mascara. It's not clumpy and it goes on smoothly. It does add a little length or at least a lengthy look. Foot Mask - Daiso - $1.50 It's a pack of 2. It's very similar in feel and effect wise to face masks, at least the other face masks I've bought from Daiso. BB Face Mask - Daiso - $1.50 I always pick this up whenever I go to Daiso. It comes in a pack of two. It always makes my face feel smoother and softer after using it. Macaroon Squishy - Ichiban - $1.88 I love these things so much. They had some bread bun ones at Daiso but these just drew my attention so much more. It may be because I love cutesy and pink and am obsessed with macaroons, though. It's also well made and I've had no problems with it so far. Hello Kitty Waffle Squishy - Ichiban - $1.48 I'm a little more careful with these next two squishies because some of the sprinkles can flake off. It is overall well made though. It's super cute as well. I love cute foods! Plus it's Hello Kitty! Hello Kitty Donut Squishy - Ichiban - $1.48 Another super cute "Hello Kitty meets cute foods" squishy! Once again the sprinkles are able to be flaked off if picked at or too rough. Over all it is well made though. All the squishies, I feel, we're a great price for the size and details! Donut Headphone Holder - Daiso - $1.50 They can be a little tricky to learn how to use, especially since it has no instructions or explanations. These are super cute though! And as always I love cute things like this. Makeup Wipes - Daiso - $1.50 There are 35 wipes in this pack. Apparently they have collagen and olive oil, both are good for your skin. They also work well and one cloth can remove all every day makeup. But I will always recommend using eye makeup remover for your eye makeup (less scrubbing). Rice Seasoning - Ichiban - $2.29 My favorite rice seasoning. I believe it's seaweed and egg. I always pick this up whenever I go to Japan Town. Scrunchy - Daiso - $1.50 I haven't worn a scrunchy since I was young but I've been wanting to accessorize more so I figured this will go great with some pastel outfits I wear. Scrunchy - Daiso - $1.50 I picked up this scrunchy to go with quite a few outfits I've been wearing lately. A lot of them have either been slightly edgy or just black and gold themed. Pore Care Pack - Daiso - $1.50 It's a stiff sheet and I do have to trim the edges because it's too large for my nose and hits under my eyes, irritating it. I also don't care for the smell at all (I breath out of my mouth). But it does work! It takes out any blackheads (not sure if ALL of them but some--I didn't have many to start). It also leaves your skin feeling softer. Comes in a pack of 4 sheets. Eyelashes - Daiso - $1.50 Love these eyelashes. The style is just so pretty and glam feeling. The packaging is also really pretty and what drew my eye in the first place. Eyelashes - Daiso - $1.50 I always pick up these lashes whenever I go to Daiso. I love half lashes. They're super long looking but can look at least semi-natural at the same time. They're also more comfortable, for me personally, than full lashes (although, I've started trimming down my full lashes more). Top Coat Nail Polish - Daiso - $1.50 It's quick drying. It's also a decent sized polish bottle. It's just a normal top coat other than that. I like it though. Strawberry Cellphone Decor - Daiso - $1.50 Love this! I saw it and knew it was a must have. It's super cheap and sooo cute to have hanging from your phone. I love that it has the option to remove the cellphone strap and just be able to use the headphone jack attachment. Eyebrow Pencil - Daiso - $1.50 I love this. The color is perfect. The pencil itself is really thin or flat (so it's long one way but thin the other --making it easier, for me at least, to fill in my brows). It also goes on smoothly. Phone Stylus - Daiso - $1.50 I picked this up to make photo editing and game apps easier to use. It really does help with that too! Works just fine with my iPhone 4. I also really like how it was designed. It's not super cutesy but it is really pretty and semi-glam. Kleancolor Neutral Zone Palette - Daiso - $1.50 I love all the colors in this palette. Perfect for smokey eyes. They're all super pigmented and really shiny/glittery. Unlike some eyeshadows it's glitter isn't just on the top layer, it's throughout the whole eyeshadow. It also comes off just as shimmer on your skin. Panda Mug - Ichiban - $4 Bought this as a gift for my grandma and she loved it. It has a super cute print around the whole mug. The top of the mug is just as cute. The mug is glass though so it may not be the best idea to take it to go, especially if you're a bit clumsy. Scented Nail Polish by Kleancolor - Daiso - $1.50 each Always been in love with these. Note: these do not smell in the bottle themselves. If you open the bottle and smell it, it'll smell like any other nail polish. In order to smell the scents you have to apply it and let it dry. In other words, it only gains it's claimed scent when it's dry. When wet it smells like normal nail polish (not so good). It's insane how it really does smell like what it claims to (I bough vanilla and pudding scented polishes). Pig Rice Bowl - Daiso - $1.50 Just had to pick up this cute little rice bowl. I love pigs after all and rice so this was just perfect. Good quality too. Danbo - eBay - $3.59 It feels fairly fragile so I recommend handle it with care. It is super cute though and the packaging is just perfect. Everything came in one piece and fully functioning. When buying off eBay I recommend search around for listings since I've seen some price this particular Danbo size at $20+, pay attention to the seller's ratings as well. Solar Powered Bobble Items - Dollar Store - $1 These make for cute little decorations and nic-nacs to have around the house or your room. So far so good, pretty sturdy. If you have noticed the flower ones can be found in those arcade games where you grab/win prizes. Jordana Lipstick: Orange & Blackberry - Savemart - $1.59 Love these lipsticks. Super cheap, available is so many colors and very pigmented. The blackberry color is a color I've been dying to have and is perfect for autumn and winter. Asian Doll Things - Grandma - Free Not sure what these are. My grandma brought them home for me and they make for some cute decorations. They're wooden, by the way. Fox Salt & Pepper Shaker & Plate - Walmart - $3-5 each These fox dinner sets are so cute. I haven't used them yet because I feel they're just to pretty to use. They are made of porcelain or something similar so be careful not to drop them. Fake Leaves - Dollar Store - $1 Something I picked up for some DIY autumn headbands. Not too much to say about these. They're like any other fake plant. Patterns - Joann's Fabric - $1-2 Joann's been having so many sales. I suggest getting McCall patterns whenever they're on sale since a lot of them run around $20 -like the Elsa/Anna one. Simplicity is usually fairly cheap and has sales often. Summoners Con Badge - Summoners Con - $90 for 2 tickets Summoner's con was amazing. I've already written a blog post on my time there. Well worth the money and time. Summoners Con Mouse Pad -Summoners Con - Free Pretty nice mouse pad. It is a bit more smooth than some of my other mouse pads but hey, it was free -it's replacing my Hello Kitty one while I clean it (since it's had soda and such spill near/on it before). Bracelets - Summoners Con - Free Like any other similar bracelets. Good quality and I represent my fandoms...(fandoms work right?). Corset - eBay - $12.59 Love this corset. It's supposedly steel-boned and from what I can tell it is or is very similar. Either way it's been doing the job -now if only I can stick to a schedule. The fabric is very thick, stiff and sturdy. Wicked Fun Tee - Summoners Con - Free Love the design on the tee, don't know too much about Wicked Fun but will look more into it. Tee is comfortable as well. Poro Plush - etsy (Summoners Con) - $45 This poro plushie is just perfect. It's so well made and sewn together. It's super soft and is just too cute. A must have for anyone who's poro-obsessed like me. Light Brown Wig - eBay - $13.99
It was a bit darker than the picture online but it is warned that colors may vary due to lighting and monitor settings. It still worked well enough for my Taiga cosplay. The quality of the wig is great though. It's fairly thick and doesn't tangle much, it's also really soft. It does have a shine to it that may want to be taken out to look more natural, though. Just writing a quick blog post about my experience at Summoners Con. For those of you who don't know, Summoners Con was the first League of Legends only convention! And it was pretty awesome :) Registration seemed easy enough, but I honestly can't comment too much on that. I was one of the first in line and got my badges early. The convention center itself was fairly small. Which was expected though! It was a first time convention so I expected it to be similar to other small cons I've been too (like Sac Anime a few years ago or Da Ani Kami Kon). To sum up the layout. There were I believe like 3 main large areas. A room with some booths and computers set up, the main room where most of the panels took place, and the summoners cafe. In the hallway-ish area there were other merch booths and what looked like an autograph area, registration was around the corner there too. I will say it was a bad idea for them to put merch in the hall and next to the exit/entrances, but they were working with a smaller area for A LOT of people. The had a cool nexus set up -I took a photo^. The lighting at the event was really cool too. <Poro from a merch booth. They had some good merch booths in my opinion. (I think almost everyone bought a poro xD). So as for people. There were a lot of people! If you didn't know, they did sell out of tickets and I'm pretty sure everyone showed up. But it was fun! People were really friendly and talkative. I got the chance to meet and befriend some new and awesome cosplayers! -There were soo many amazing cosplayers there and photographers. This was a photo taken from the Creating Original League Content panel. Here people were asking popular League/Youtube personalities questions and they were answering them -so q&a. I didn't grab a picture because I participated in it but they did host a cosplay masquerade. Super casual. Everyone walked on stage and posed for a few seconds to let people take photos then walked off. At the end you got some small prize for participating. It was fun. They also had musicians preform. So in this photo is Lunity. I also saw The Yordles for the first time -super good- but didn't get a photo. Nicki Taylor preforming. Apparently they did sound checks and practiced only shortly before hand. So when she was covering the song Warriors she forgot the second verse. It was really fun how they handled it though. Super casual and no one mind. She was "extending the convention" (since she was the last set of the night). They just restarted and she got the lyrics on her phone. It was still a really great set. I actually liked the whole feel of the convention. It was casual and friendly. It didn't feel like there was some strict divide between the con goers and the guests like you can get at other cons. I'll note they did end up getting off schedule and having to switch some things around for various reasons but it didn't get off by too much. Once again, first time con -didn't expect everything to run perfectly and didn't mind whenever it didn't. I got the chance to meet and take photos with quite a few people too! Doublelift > A lot of guests would just hang around the convention and talk to their fans until they had to be somewhere. Here's something. When going to take a photo with Doublelift no one had noticed him yet so there was just me and a few people.. But then Sky (Williams) saw him and shouted out to everyone "Look there's Doublelift." It was great xD Still got a picture with him before there was too much of a crowd! Got one with Sky Williams too! :D We ran into Sp4zie when heading to the con. He was all over the place. He hosted the panels and such. My friend Courtney (Arcade MF) really wanted a picture with The Yordles after hearing them play their set. So at the after party we ran into them and got the chance to. They're super nice and it was great talking to them, they gave us free The Yordles bracelets. I even got the chance to meet Missyeru! She was dressed as Jayce too! She was also super sweet and it was great getting a chance to talk to her. I also met Riot Jynx! She was so nice and wanted to grab a photo with me as well :3 Met Vensy too! She was the Lulu! They're cosplays are so perfect! Towards the end of the night I ran into Lily Pichu. Her Annie is so cute! ^^ And she's so cute and shy and sweet. This was me and Courtney in our cosplays. We got some photos in the lobby (on a nice camera) and even got to do a small shoot with some other photographers. Can't wait to see the photos. Met and befriended some cosplayers as I mentioned earlier. :) This was one of them. Her poro cosplay is too cute! Courtney's friend cosplayed Twitch. It was so well done. We got a chance to go to the after party. That was fun. Met some more people there too! It eventually moved from this room to somewhat in the lobby -I think so people could have conversations. xD Courtney, Andrea and me! I love these girls. It was so great getting to hang out with Courtney again and meeting Andrea. Can't wait for next years con. Love having cosplay buddies! :D Oh! P.S. The hotel it was hosted at was super nice. Also, heels are a bad idea. My feet killed me! xD Halloween Special Effects Makeup - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 Not super good quality of course and there's not very much product but I figured it will do for a few Halloween makeup tutorials. Air Dry Clay - eBay - $10.67 So I totally thought it was $7ish in the video but after checking, it was $10 which was still the same price it was at Walmart. Just picked up some air-dry clay for details on some cosplays. Jordana Nail Polish in Soft Pink - Savemart - $1.59 The colors very pretty. Takes only 2 coats -what's recommended for nail polish- to have a solid even layer of coloring. It's almost like a pink-ish nude color. Loreal Paris Color Vibrancy Shampoo & Conditioner - Savemart - $5-ish Each Picked up this shampoo since it's meant for color treated hair. I've used it a few times now and my hair hasn't been fading much, nor have I seen a lot of the color run out when washing it - so it seems like it's doing is job. Loreal Paris Color Vibrancy dual Protect Spray - Savemart - $5-6ish Picked up some heat protection spray. This goes along with the Loreal shampoo and conditioner, so it also helps protect color treated hair from fading, which is great since hot irons -especially straighteners- can cause color to fade and dull quickly. Also the packaging and color is perfect! Argan Oil by OGX - Savemart - $6ish So far, so great! I've used it a few times now on both my hair and the extensions I wear and they both feel so much silkier, soft and hydrated. It gives my hair a nice shine and it continues to feel healthier even a few days afterwards. Skull & Cross Bones Ice Cube Trays - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 I've always wanted to be able to have ice cubes in different shapes and I saw this and thought it was so cute. I still one some in geek culture/nerdy topic shapes. Things like this are great for parties, hangouts and summer. So this specific shaped ice cube tray would be perfect for a Halloween party of some sort. Collagen Essence Facial Mask - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 It's nothing super professional but I've purchased face masks from the $1.50 store in Japan Town before and it's very similar to these. I'm never sure if they make much of a difference but my skin does feel refreshed and hydrated at the least. Revlon Stick on Polish/Nail Art - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 I love these things. They can be a bit tricky to work with sometimes but it comes with quite a few in case you make mistakes. Nail polish strips are perfect for a quick and easy manicure. Amethyst - eBay - $1.95 Blue Sand - eBay - $1.96 I love these. I've seen them all around the internet lately, these crystal pendants so I just had to pick me up some and only one to pick up more ~and I will! They're just so pretty and fantasy-like. Makes me feel elvish almost. I got it in Blue Sand because the stone reminded me of a galaxy almost, like stars in a midnight sky. I got the Amethyst because it's always been my favorite gemstone, along with sapphire. Makeup Wedges - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 Just grabbed some wedges because I figured they'd be useful at some point, especially when for any Halloween-ish makeup tutorials. Fake Nose Rings (set of 2) - eBay - $1.69 I love these. I'm so afraid of the needles used for septum piercings so I never wanted to commit, that and I doubted whether I would like the piercing on me or not. This is such an easy fix for me! It's comfortable, easy to put on and take off. Inuyasha DVD - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 So like I said in the video, the 99 Cent Store will randomly have different DVDs of Inuyasha so whenever I see one I don't have yet I'll always pick it up. No issues with any so far. Under Eye Mask - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 Similar to the face masks. It's cheap so I never expect it to do something amazing but my skin does feel refreshed and hydrated afterwards. I've only used one mask so far. They can be slightly uncomfortable if placed weird or you have really sensitive under eyes. Gold Spiked Bra - eBay - $7.49 I love this so much. I've seen some grunge outfits including this piece so I just had to pick one up. It makes a great replacement for my plain black bandeau tops. Looks super edgy and grunge-like, at least with the way I've styled it and plan to. Pocket Sketch Pad - eBay - $11.90 This is so great for anyone interest in fashion design. The outline of the figures won't show up if scanned so that means when you scan or photocopy your designs you wont have anything you haven't drawn show up, getting rid of the lines that may run through the middle of some outfits. the figure lines a printed in this light peach color so even on the original paper itself it doesn't interfere too much with designs that follow a different silhouette. It's full of front, back and side views, multiple poses and a variety of sizes or the figures. It also has a lot of figures to work with, meaning it'll be able to be used for a long time. Most designers have things similar to this, where they have pre-drawn figures already available to them so they can just start designing whenever inspired and don't have to waste time drawing a base figure first. Popcorn Purse - eBay - $14.26 This is just so cute. The material is thick and sturdy, it retains it's shape, the box shape helps it stand up well. The fabric and pull strings on the top allows for extra room if needed, but overall it fits quite a bit for looking a bit on the smaller side. It's not as big as my other purse but my other purse was fairly huge-for me at least. It lets you switch between a small hand-strap or a long shoulder strap. The color scheme and print is so lovely and doesn't seem like it'll scratch off or fade. It's so well made. The original price I bought it for was about $15 but the seller has since upped the price to about $20. I may have even gotten it on sale but I can't remember. Halloween Fence Posts - 99 Cent Store - $0.99 Just something I picked up because I figured, due to the shape of it, it could be useful as a base for some sort of prop in a future cosplay. Gel Pen Set - Big Lots - $5-10ish Bringing back my childhood. Gel pens are just has I remember them. The right smoothly and vibrantly. I do have to say that Big Lots -at least here- is a slightly more run down-looking store so it didn't surprise be too much when two of the pens didn't work at all (I think something's wrong with the ball point because the ink looked fine and is full) and another two had quite a bit of trouble getting started. But overall I remember this being significantly cheaper than I've seen in other local stores, but you can always search on eBay. Card Stock Paper - Big Lots - $2-4ish What can I say? It's just a form of thicker paper basically. But most artists would know why I love drawing on card-stock and favor certain paper of others. For card-stock i found the price to be fairly cheap. Everything just writes so smoothly on it. White Blanket - QVC - $?? I love this blanket. Received it as a birthday gift from my grandma. It's a cute little throw blanket, is warm, soft and fuzzy. Perfect for the fall and winter weather ahead. Afterglow AGX.1 Headset - eBay - $40-60ish In love with this headset. It was marked as retail factory box opened/damaged, but everything inside was in it's original packaging and was never used - you could tell. Everything works fine. The sound quality is amazing and I'm in love with the lights. This is a later model of Afterglow headsets but I was in love with this one because of the headband! It only glows one color unlike the newer models -which does not include light up headbands- and is available in two color choices, green or blue. I picked blue because it reminded me of Tron. The lights are able to be turned on and off. I prefer corded headsets but needed one I could easily move about my whole room in since I have pets to deal with and don't like to constantly take on and off my headset. The cord for this is just perfect! It's super long, I'm able to move about my room easily and still have a portion of the cord bundled up. It has the option to control both game and chat volumes which could be a little tricky to figure out how to set up if you don't know already. I just went to my volume mixer and turned my chat application all the way down in one and up in the other and vise versa-ed it with the game applications. There may be other ways to go about this but I'm not sure. It has two modes for sound which are signified by either a blue or red color on the mic. And from what I can tell the mic works fine. Much better quality than my old headset from what I've been told. I've read that the light up band can be fragile so, like what I've seen someone complain about, don't throw it (face palm -how's that not obvious) and I wouldn't rest your head to the side on anything -like if you're laying down. The band is flexible though, it's not adjustable height wise, but the inner band is meant to secure and keep the headset reaching tight -obviously, it can only go as high as the light up band though. Both bands are fairly flexible when it comes to stretching it sideways so it should fit around most heads. If you have a very large head though, it may be come uncomfortable and tight feeling especially after a long period of time. I haven't had much trouble with this and I feel I have about an average head size. It's only been slightly uncomfortable when I had in clip-in extensions (that were sitting weird themselves) and had been wearing it for nearly a whole 24 hours. The comfort of the ear pad-things are perfect though. I just love after glow products so much though, mostly because of the light up and glowing applications. Photography Studio Lighting Kit - eBay - $99.00
Lastly, I received this photography studio kit. It was one of the cheaper listings of this specific kit I found on eBay and from a seller with fairly good ratings, so i ordered this one. It included 4 studio light bulbs, 4 sockets for the light that attach to the 4 lighting tripods included (they also work as a tripod for my camera :D ), 2 soft boxes and covers, 2 umbrellas, a white, green and black backdrop, 5 rings to hand the backdrop on & 2 straps that attach it to the side posts, 2 tripods for the backdrop and 4 bars to go along the top of the backdrop rigging, a carrying case and I believe that was it. It arrived early and nothing was damaged or broken. Ever piece worked and arrive fine. It didn't come with instructions though but since most lighting sets are fairly universal and generic it was easy to just Google some How-Tos. I'm so excited to use this. I've already filmed a few videos with this -including this haul video. I received the Dean's List Voxbox! Voxboxes are boxes full of different products given to you by Influenster with the cooperation of various companies. Influenster is a website were you have the ability to easily find reviews and write your own on various products, connect with others, and receive opportunities to get free products to review and talk about with your peers. I received the Dean's List Voxbox and these are it's contents; Airhead Bites These are so good ~I've almost eaten them all now-just a short while after opening the Voxbox. They taste just like normal airheads. They only difference is that they're bite size, round and have a "hard" candy shell. I "" hard because it's only hard in the sense that it's more solid than they rest- think of the candy shelling on Skittles or M&Ms. They're just as chewy though! Pilot Pen I received to Pilot Frixion Ball Clicker pens. They write so pretty. I had a small doodle showing it off on my Instgram but it doesn't nearly do it enough justice. They're also erase-able! So I'm kind of weird because I've always been super picky about the pens I write with -it's an artist thing?-. I love when they write smoothly and prettily, and these do! Bonus is the eraser is really good too! Kiss Looks So Natural Lashes - Sultry I received these Lashes. Now there's different styles of Looks So Natural Lashes, I received them in Sultry. They're less full than other lashes I own but not in a bad way! The idea is to look super natural and they do. They're even tapers to go from shorter on the inside to longer on the outside just like natural lashes. And they branch out ever so slightly in different directions, once again, like natural lashes. The strip the lashes are attached to is fairly thin as well, and clear, helping to give them an even more natural look. These lashes will help add slight volume and fullness to your natural lashes, as well as length ~ all while keeping it looking natural, like they're actually your real lashes. Platex Sports Fresh Balance Tampons These are meant for people who are active often, so they'd be especially good for girls who play sports! They come with a plastic applicator and are apparently lightly scented and have an odor shield. Now these aren't necessarily my thing but I'm sure it's good for anyone who prefers this style of lady items. Softlips Cube This has to be the most favorite product I received. Most lipbalms and chapsticks I've purchased all say they do this and that and they do do what they say but it's never anything super noticeably different from one another. This one is so different though! I felt an instant difference -not exaggerating. It's so hydrating and instantly moisturizing. Plus is smells amazing! I got it in the scent Vanilla Bean and not only does is smell like Vanilla Bean but it tastes like it too, how crazy (mostly, because I've never been a fan on when lip products where flavored and this one I don't believe is necessarily meant to be-but even so, it's not bad or weird smelling nor tasting). Think Starbuck's Vanilla Bean drink-I forget what kind of drink it is, but the one without coffee. Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation It's oil free and matches my skin tone. It has more of a warm undertone too it but blends really well so I find that the pink-y tone to it goes away once I blend it onto my skin more-which is great since I'm a cool tone. It feels really light weight and seems to cover fairly well. Sinful Colors; No Text Red
It's a pretty shade of red. Looks a bit magenta-y or has a magenta tone to it with a thin layer, but with two coats comes out a vibrant red. Dries quickly to and it non-sticky and easy to apply. No only is the nail polish great but the campaign is stands for is amazing. No Text Red is a part of a campaign to raise awareness of safe driving, specifically, not texting while driving. You're suppose to paint your thumbnails red to partake in the awareness. Right now my middle finger is the red one but I'll switch it up later. Remember don't text and drive and drive safely! Everything in the box I love and am very satisfied/happy with :) Can wait to use these products more! ~Positive outcomes only! :) My boyfriend took his computer to get looked at here today. The guy was super nice and helpful.
They charged I believe it was $40 to look at and $60 if they have to open it up (the price lowers if you get it repaired at the same time or something like that I believe). My boyfriend only had $25 in his bank account though at the moment (because we're broke college students ;-; and the only income he has is a lawn mowing job ~but doesn't pay a whole lot). The guy was super nice and like here let me see it before we left and even opened it up and stuff to look at (had to take out the keyboard to fix the problem~). So when we asked what we owed him he was like nah you're good, gave us business cards and said just share us with your friends. So that's what I'm doing! xD Disclaimer: obviously I can't promise the same will happen for you, nor do I feel that you should attempt to. They need to make money and a living too. So if you do need your computer fixed though and you're in the area I feel it's a good place to go to! I like supporting smaller & local businesses as well, especially ones with super nice employees. Yeah it's a bit expensive to get it looked at but at least they know what they're doing and can get the job done right (~my boyfriend's parents had gone there in the past to get stuff fixed so that's why we were referred to it). The guy also reminded me of Tony Stark, xD. ~Positive outcomes only! |
